Our Catholic World Mission lmpact in Central and South America
Catholic World Mission (CWM) works worldwide to empower communities in need. By partnering with these communities, we promote long-term self-sufficiency, notjust addressing short-term necessities.
We aim to encourage those in need to pray and present their needs to Godwith thanksgiving(Philippians 4:6). Our goal is to help strengthen their faith so they will trust God's Word despite their adversities. We believe we are vessels to do His will on Earth and help carve pathways to Christ in communities around the world. By sharing the Gospel of Christ. we promote our pillars of support to improve lives throughout Central and South America.
HOW DOES CWM HELP
THOSE IN NEED?
Central and South America experience high unemployment rates, which lead to poverty and other socioeconomic challenges. Catholic World Mission sees this as an opportunity to spread our Catholic faith worldwide. especially in areas needing spiritual and material upliftment. Countries where we partner with local communities include Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador. Honduras, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, El Salvador and Guatemala. We are all God's children. While some are more fortunate than others, we must help those in these affected areas lead more fulfilling Christian lives. ONGOING PROJECTS IN COSTA RICA With the potential to reach thousands of children. women and families in underdeveloped countries, we rely on donations from individuals and organizations to continue our projects. Our scholarship program in Costa Rica is an impactful initiative that prepares children for academic success and spiritual enlightenment. TheMissionary Centers offer catechesis programs while providing a learning space for children and a place of worship for theen tire area. With your donations, we hope to continue partnering with Vittorino Girardi High School and the surrounding community so all can reach their God-given potential. ONGOING PROJECTS IN ECUADOR Our ongoing projects in Ecuador have already helped improve the lives of those impacted by an unstable economy. They include: - Food for the elderly. - Performing the Sacraments. - Cultural programs for children. - Supplying water tanks and purifiers. - Building a multipurpose development center. -Leading seminarian and missionary formation retreats. - Spreading the Gospel by boat by maintaining three motorized boats purchased in 2023. Any donations will help us continue spreading God's light, love and hope to the people of Valdez Limones, Ecuador.

Our initiatives in this part of the world include providing underprivileged communities and parishes with mostrances. promoting our Lumen partnership, supporting seminarians and lay missionaries. and shipping life-saving supplies to communities in need.
