Catholics in Bowina Praise God Wherever they Can

Catholics in Bowina Praise God Wherever they Can

Every Sunday in Bowina, Ghana a small, but dedicated community of about 100 Catholics gathers to celebrate Mass against countless odds. The mud chapel they constructed in 1999 is now at risk of caving in, so you’ll find them worshipping under a mango tree instead.
Nothing deters these Catholics from believing in Jesus and gathering to praise him.
“For a tree there is hope; if it is cut down, it will sprout again, its tender shoots will not cease” (Job 14:7)
The response to the St. Paul Chapel need has been tremendous and we are now progressing with the project.
