The catechists’ wives received sewing machines they are excited to learn sewing skills and generate income to support their families. When the project received funding in January, Fr. Arnold Malambwa shared the news with the families, who were overwhelmed with joy and gratitude, expressing their thanks through songs and blessings.

Some of them said,“Mungu wabariki CWM”(God bless CWM) and others said “Walipotoa Mungu awarudishie and kuwazidishia” (where they have given out, God return to them and give them more). Together they said long live CWM.

The community rallied behind the initiative, celebrating CWM’s support.

The sewing machines were purchased and distributed in February and have already been put use by the catechists’ families. We are excited to witness their progress.
